Mac moved to the Outer Banks from the Short Pump area of Richmond, Virginia where he had spent 18 years in the optical business. In 2002, after vacationing for years on the Outer Banks, Mac and his family decided to pull up stakes in Richmond and move toSouthern Shores. They haven't regretted that decision; the Outer Banks offers a small town atmosphere with the amenities of a resort area. Mac, a graduate of the University of Richmond, joined CENTURY 21 Nachman Realty because of the company's regional presence and commitment to high quality client service. His wife Sonja, a database administrator, telecommutes from their home in Southern Shores. They have two school age children, Meghan and Evan, who love the Outer Banks and hit the beach whenever possible.
